This 50 something mother of 4 maintained a healthy weight but realized that her protruding abdomen was because of muscle separation rather than fat. I repaired her muscle separation and removed her excess skin with a tummy tuck. You can see from her photo that her posture has improved a bit and she reports she feels stronger in the core and has less lower back strain.

This 30 something former gymnast had significant muscle separation following child bearing. No amount of exercise will bring those muscles back to their original position. I repaired her muscle separation. The has very little excess skin and I had to leave a lower abdominal vertical incision as you can see on her post op photo. This scar will fade with time.

This 33 year old lady was done with babies. I did a tummy tuck and some liposuction to her hips. I also lifted and reduced her mons pubis (covered by her undies). I removed a total of about 8 pounds of fat but it looks like a lot more, doesn’t it. She is thrilled with her trim and flat and strong abdomen.

This healthy and active middle aged lady came to me after she had done her best to trim her abdomen. I did a tummy tuck on her and got her really nice and flat. Her scar was very acceptable but as you can see, she took it one step further. She designed her own tattoo!

This lean and athletic 36 year old mother of two finally conceded to the fact that you cannot exercise loose skin or displaced, stretched out muscles into a flat abdomen. After a billion and one abdominal crunches, she came to me and had an abdominoplasty. I also repaired her teeny, tiny umbilical hernia at the same time. She now feels that her right and tight abdomen fits with the rest of her. She’s back to hiking the many wonderful trails in Western Washington with her husband and children.

This 39 year old mother of one lost 40 pounds through diet and exercise but was still burdened by her abdominal apron and her enlarged mons pubis. She was in excellent health, had a large social network to help her during recovery and her employer was willing to let her take a month off to recover. These factors are very important in determining who is a good candidate for this large of a procedure. After she had accepted the fact that only plastic surgery would solve her “problem area”, she underwent an extended abdominoplasty with removal of 13 pounds of excess skin and fat. I also lifted up and reduced her mons pubis. She had a few areas that took a long time to heal but five months later she looks and feels like a new woman. She’s back at work at one of Seattle’s foodie emporiums managing hundreds of types of very stinky but tasty cheese.

This 48 year old children’s author underwent an abdominoplasty. She loved the improved contour but did not like her scar. It did fade considerably over time but she took a walk on the wild side when she turned 50 and turned her scar into a work of art with the help of a tattoo artist. She designed the pattern herself. She now shows off our creation with her newest hobby – belly dancing!

This young mother of 2 was sure she was done having children. She loved being a mother but didn’t love what pregnancy has done to her abdomen. I performed a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and repaired her muscle laxity and removed her excess skin and most of her stretch marks. At three months (middle photo) her hip to hip scar is quite pink. At one year (right photo), it has faded just in time for bikini season.

Every time this attractive woman looked in the mirror, she felt her abdomen was telling her she was ugly, even when she was fully clothed. A c-section had left her with loose, overhanging skin and laxity of her mons pubis. I performed an abdominoplasty on her to remove the excess skin and lift her mons pubis. Her scar at 3 months (middle photo) is very red but after a year (right photo), it has faded. She has made peace with the mirror and her abdomen.
