This 42 year old devoted herself to work and family to the exclusion of herself for many years. She then discovered distance running and it changed her life. She slimmed down by 50 pounds and enjoyed a boost in her energy and sense of accomplishment. I did a tummy tuck and breast lift on her. At her final post op visit she showed me a photo of herself in a two piece. It just made my day.

This 34 year old software engineer lost about 60 pounds through diet and exercise. He was left with residual excess breast tissue and sagging of his breast skin. I did an excisional gynecomastia procedure. His transverse scar will fade over time. He is pleased with his new chest contour.

This 39 year old mother of one lost 40 pounds through diet and exercise but was still burdened by her abdominal apron and her enlarged mons pubis. She was in excellent health, had a large social network to help her during recovery and her employer was willing to let her take a month off to recover. These factors are very important in determining who is a good candidate for this large of a procedure. After she had accepted the fact that only plastic surgery would solve her “problem area”, she underwent an extended abdominoplasty with removal of 13 pounds of excess skin and fat. I also lifted up and reduced her mons pubis. She had a few areas that took a long time to heal but five months later she looks and feels like a new woman. She’s back at work at one of Seattle’s foodie emporiums managing hundreds of types of very stinky but tasty cheese.

After a lifetime of morbid obesity, this 58 year old gentleman underwent gastric bypass surgery and lost half of his body weight. He was left with a large abdominal apron and a lot of muscle laxity. I performed an abdominoplasty (do not call this a “tummy tuck”!) on him and used both a long horizontal incision and a vertical incision to tighten him as much as possible. He has a nice result and I can’t wait to do his chest once he is ready.

This 56 year old lady worked very hard to slim down to a healthy weight through diet and exercise. She was left with laxity of her upper arms that required a brachioplasty to obtain a pleasing contour. Her scars ended up being narrow and subtle and they do not bother her.

This middle aged woman reinvented herself after her children flew the coop. She changed her eating habits and started working out. She lost a lot of fat and gained a lot of muscle but only surgery could help her sagging buttock area. I performed a buttock lift on her. She really rocks her Hanky Panky thong, don’t you think?

This 40 something woman lost about 60 pounds through diet and exercise. She found, however, that she could not exercise her lax skin. I performed a medial thigh lift on her. Her vertical scars were initially very obvious but they faded nicely after about one year.
