Transblepharoplasty brow lift with Endotine TransBleph fixation devices according to Seattle Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Lisa Lynn Sowder

With the help of a new type of fixation device, I can now do brow lifts on some patients through an upper eyelid incision. This results in less scarring and quicker recovery than a standard brow lift. This is a wonderful procedure for the youngish patient who needs to get back to their cubicle in their high tech Seattle job sooner rather than later.

The Endotine TransBleph device is the surgical equivalent of a carpet tack. It dissolves after about 6 months and by that time, the brow should be well fixated in its new elevated position. I have found this procedure to be very effective for many patients who would benefit from a brow lift and I often do it at the same time as an upper lid blepharoplasty. I have before and after photos of patients who have had this procedure in my photo gallery. Take a look!
