No flu shot. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
According to the King County Health Department ,we are experiencing a nasty flu season this year. If you have ever had a true influenza infection, you know that it can make you wish you had never been born. I still remember having the Hong Kong Flu way back in junior high school. Being home sick from school used to be a little bit fun but not in that case. I would have rather sat through week of all- day French classes than suffer through the head and muscle aches.
It’s not too late to get a flu shot if you have not had one. I always get mine right at the beginning of the season but I have to admit that 2 or my 3 kids have not yet had their shot. Bad mother, huh? I’ll be taking them in this weekend. The only thing worse than being sick is having sick kids.
