Seattle Plastic Surgeon thinks Puget Sound Guitar Workshop is a great way to spend a week in the summer.
Tomorrow morning I will getting in line at the Seattle-Bremerton Ferry on my way to the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop (PSGW). The trunk of my Mini Cooper will be stuffed with a rented stand up bass fiddle, two guitars and a ukulele. I hope I some room for a change of clothes.
PSGW is a summer camp for kids from 16 – 96 who love to make acoustic music together. I think of it as Fantasy Island for someone like me who is my wildest dreams is really a blues diva. I’ve been attending for close to a decade and always feel like I’ve entered a different world when I pull my car into the parking lot of this rustic camp on the Kitsap Peninsula. I can’t wait to see some of my camp buddies. Most of them don’t even know what my “day job” is.
