Body Contouring

Sometimes diet and exercise aren’t quite enough.  Stubborn areas of fat may seem to cling to your hips or thighs despite your best efforts.  Or you may find that all those Pilates classes strengthened your core but did nothing to help your saggy abdominal skin.  Here are two facts of nature that keep me busy:  1.  We are genetically programmed to hang onto the fat in our “problem areas” the way a camel hangs onto its hump.  2.  We cannot exercise our skin.

So if you have done your very best, and are at a healthy and stable weight, I’m here to do the rest.  At your consultation, I will examine the areas that defy your best efforts and let you know what procedure(s) will help.  These procedures may include abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, thigh lift, flank lift, brachiplasty (upper arm lift),  buttock lift or even fat transfer to the buttock.

If you are obese and have medical problems related to your obesity, you may not be a good candidate for body contouring surgery.  I would still be happy to see you.  I will let you know what you need to do to become a good surgical candidate and hopefully point you in the right direction to improve your diet and exercise habits that will help you achieve a healthier weight.

If you would like to find out more about this procedure please call our office to schedule an appointment at 206-464-0873.
