Patient Care Coordinator Azaria does price quotes, schedules surgery, and helps with insurance preauthorization. She joined our team after working in human resources and managed care for a 27-physician family practice group. She's an expert in dealing with insurance companies. After a long week of bonding with her computer screen, she unwinds in the great outdoors either on skis or in hiking boots. Financial Manager Angela joined our team after spending years as a billing specialist with a large family practice group. She not only helps with accounts receivable and payable, insurance billing, and in-house accounting, she is our all-around paperwork guru. After hours, she’s learning how to SCUBA dive and trying to teach her gigantic dog good doggie manners.   Financial Coordinator Jeanelle is the newest member of our team. She has many years of experience working in the dental field, both in office management and equipment and product sales. She helps with the financial side of the office and also is cross trained to cover the front desk and do some patient care coordination work. Since Jeanelle joined us, we all make sure we brush and floss.   Surgical Tech and Skin Care Specialist Raven grew up on the Quinalt Indian Reservation.  After graduating from Aberdeen High School, she received her training as a surgical technician in Phoenix.  She returned to the rain of western Washington where she works as our surgical tech.  She assists in surgery and maintains our operating instruments and equipment.  She also serves as our skin care specialist and is an expert in the skin care products we carry.    Registered Nurse Jim has a background in both hospital and outpatient surgery center nursing. In addition to providing in-office and in-O.R. care, he helps with our AAAASP accreditation. Jim teaches skiing at Mount Baker on weekends. He also knows how to Salsa. Ole! Registered Nurse Virginia brings over a decade of plastic surgery experience to our office. She provides patient care and education in the office and assists me in the operating room. She also helps with keeping track of our in-office O.R. supplies and assists with our AAAASF accreditation. In her off time, she spends time with her husband and lovely daughters. Registered Nurse Laurie brings many year of hospital and surgery center experience to our staff. She assists in surgery, in the office and the recovery room. She is also a master of paperwork and helps us with documentation for our AAAASF certification. Laurie enjoys time off with her family and takes hip hop classes to stay in shape. She’s got the moves! Receptionist and Medical Record Manager Sarah cannot decide whether she wants to be an emergency medical technician or a bar and restaurant designer when she grows up. After years as an EMT, she decided to take a less stressful (?) job so she could attend night school and obtain a degree in design. She’s on our front line, meeting and greeting and answering our forever ringing phone lines. We fortunately have not had to rely on her EMT skills, but we all look to her when we have a fire drill.
